Camp tents and stoves

The MIL field camp tent models differ in size, capacity, and intended use. The MIL 10-200 and MIL 10-230 are both field camp tents designed for up to 10 people. The key difference lies in their height: the MIL 10-200 features 110 cm high side walls and a 200 cm peak height, while the MIL 10-230 has higher 140 cm walls and a 230 cm peak height, making it better suited for working inside the tent in addition to accommodation.

The same goes for the models MIL 20-250 and MIL 20-320 which are designed for up to 20 people. The MIL 20-250 is primarily intended for accommodation, with 110 cm high walls and a 250 cm peak height. The MIL 20-320, on the other hand, offers significantly more interior space with 180 cm high walls and a 320 cm peak height, making it suitable for both accommodation and work use.

All our field camp tents are made for hard, all-year round use in arctic conditions.

Although Savotta field camp tents where originally designed for military use and sized accordingly, these are of course suited for a lot of different use cases.

These tents are not limited to military applications; they are also widely used by hunting parties, film crews, scout groups, outdoor event organizers, and for recreational camping.

The Savotta TK24 tent stove is a traditional portable wood-burning stove designed for heating larger field camp tents. It features a simple, robust box-shaped body with foldable legs and includes a 9-part chimney, making it easy to transport by vehicle and set up in demanding conditions. It also offers a flat top surface useful for cooking and strong, durable construction for long-term use in harsh weather.

By contrast, the Savotta Hawu tent stove is a much lighter (5,4 kg vs. TK24 of 19,6 kg), more compact, and more fuel-efficient design optimized for use with Hawu tents (currently sold out). It includes features such as secondary combustion for cleaner, hotter burns, an oval shape that resists heat deformation, and folding legs for easy transport. It’s built to be highly efficient with lower weight, ideal for situations where weight and packability matter.

Yes! We encourage repairs to extend the life of your gear. We offer a Tent repair kit for basic repairs on Savotta field camp tents and Hiisi sauna tens. Please note that the kit does not include glue.
