This is the complete shoulder strap assembly of the Kahakka backpacks, compatible with many of our and others packs and backs due to the simple yet universal webbing and buckle attachment system. Includes left and right shoulder strap, bottom straps and sternum strap.
The outer side is 500D Cordura, the body side is stretchy Cordura Comfort, and between the two is a layer of relatively thin but properly dense 50 kg/m2 closed cell foam. These will not collapse and flatten under heavier loads, as some “softer and nicer” closed cell foams may do.
The 25 mm webbing is bartacked all the way through the shoulder straps at many points from end to end. The loops formed by the bartacks offer a means to securely attach the sternum strap, which can be moved up or down or removed entirely as desired.

I use the Kahakka backpack harness with the Hatka 12L. It's much more comfortable to carry now than with the included straps. I wish my JÄÄKÄRI M Backpack had these straps too!

Ich habe lange überlegt ob ich mir diese Gurte holen soll. Gott sei dank hab ich es getan!
Hatte an meinem Hatka zuvor die flachen Gurte von Varusteleka und die sind schon ein deutlicher Unterschied zu den mitgelieferten Riemchen. Aber bei mehr Gewicht spürt man die Last deutlich. Mit diesen hier hat sich das Thema erledigt. Wirklich toll.
