Full description
This is pretty much as simple as a belt pad can be and works with pretty much any belt that fits. The flat belt loops, made from 25 mm webbing, are 60 mm wide. As these are attached with 25 mm spacing they can be used to attach PALS-compatible pouches horizontally.
The padding is two layers of 4 mm thick dense closed cell foam. The body side is made from rubberized friction fabric, it keeps the padded belt from sliding up and down and all around.
Check out the 3-piece belt pad of our Valjas belt system if you’re looking to carry a heavier belt kit. The larger, wider pads allow for more carrying comfort and feature dedicated harness attachment D-rings.
Fit and sizing
The ”S-M”, ”M-L” and ”L-XL” sizing should be considered a rough guideline! The S-M pad is 70 cm (27,5”) long, the M-L pad is 80 cm (31,5”) long and the L-XL pad is 95 (37,5”) cm long. These work best with a 15-30 cm (6-12”) gap in between the pad ends at the front.
To find your size:
Get dressed as you would be when using your padded belt, trouser belt and all.
Measure your circumference at the height where you want to wear your padded belt, most commonly this is just above your hips.
Say that measurement is 100 cm (40”), a S-M pad would leave a full 30 cm (12”) gap at the front, whilst a M-L would leave a 20 cm (8”) gap at the front. In this case we recommend going with the M-L.

Works fine for the 339 saddle sack aswell, with the addition of a webbing strap with ladderlock and clasp buckle.
Using it to stabilize the hip belt of my Kahakka 25. The "grippy" fabric on the inside makes it much more comfortable to carry, especially when it's fully loaded.

Oikeen kelpo kapistus, mutta jos saisi yhden kehitysehdotuksen ehdottaa, niin tuon pehmusteen ja taisteluvyön mitoituksen voisi laittaa kohdillensa niin, että pystykujat tulisivat aina vaakojen väliin. Nyt taskujen kiinnitys vyöhön niin, että pehmuste on mukana oli hieman nihkeää ja vaati kikkailua. Lopputulos oli ihan siedettävä, mutta ei täydellinen. Erillisinä tuotteina ei valittamista.

Tuo mitoitusero johtuu siitä, että Slim belt padin pystysuorat vyölenkit on tehty 25 mm jaolla, mikä mahdollistaa niiden käytön nauhakujastona taskujen vaakasuoraan kiinnitykseen. Vyössä puolestaan on 40 mm PALS-kujavälitys, joten niiden kohdistus ei voi mennä täysin yksi yhteen.
Ymmärrämme, että tämä saattaa vaatia hieman kikkailua. Hienoa kuulla, että lopputulos oli kuitenkin toimiva, vaikka ei täydellinen.
