FULL PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
There are times when you need to sit, kneel or work out in the cold, wet and snowy outdoors. This foldable sitting pad offers you an insulated padded surface plus an even larger non-insulated but waterproof groundsheet-like extension to keep you warm, dry and clean. The groundsheet-like extensions really make a big difference when you’re sitting on wet terrain or snow, keeping your legs from getting soaked.
Besides sitting and kneeling on the clean surface provided by the Sitting pad also gives you a good workspace for fiddling around with your gear, cleaning and maintaining equipment and such. Especially nice when working with camera equipment, cleaning firearms etc.
The padded/insulated section is 48 x 44 cm, with a narrow gap in between the two pieces of closed cell foam insulation. The total size of the spread-out sitting pad is 64 x 64 cm. When folded up for transport the dimensions are 24 x 44 x 2 cm.

Note: The Sitting Pad will fit into the external back compartment of the Hatka 12L and Kahakka 15L. However, as the pad is slightly longer than the pouch, it will stick out a bit when stored.

Sitting Pad is an absolute lifesaver. It came in handy when I had to sit on a wet rock, making breaks much more comfortable. Bonus points it fits into my Kahakka 15
I like it’s bigger than just the sitting area — so my trousers stay dry even when put on something wet. And fits the Kahakka’s back pocket, no extra storage space needed.
Fine gear... Use it for hunting on tree stands or prone on the ground. Those groundsheet like extensions make the difference: no more wet calfs or thighs. It fit's nearly perfect my Savotta Kahakka 25l, with Kahakka's belt straps tugged a little tricky. But when You insert the pad an pull it in from below, it's fine. Pad cleans effortlessly after green covering, moss or mud - simply rinse & rub, no detergent needed. I even combine pad and FDF sleeping pad to support hips or elbows when resting or shooting prone. Thumbs up, Team Savotta!
I've been using this for a short while and it feels just like the sleeping pad and it makes it a lot more comfortable for when I have to sit on the concrete or in the dirt
