A compact counterweight pouch, attaches with hook-and-loop and via webbing loops to screws/rails. Designed for 45 x 60 x 5 mm Finnish Senop lead weight discs.
The internal elastic webbing compartments are designed for our locally common Senop lead discs (45 x 60 x 5 mm), as used by the Finnish Defence Forces, but can fit various other stuff as well. The large space beneath the elastic webbing can fit a max. 100 x 60 x 20 mm block, the two smaller weight compartments can each fit a max. 45 x 60 x 15 mm block.
The pouch attaches to the rear of your helmet/cover with hook-and-loop and two adjustable webbing straps. The webbing straps come with screw attachment buckles, attach these to the rear chinstrap/rail screws on your helmet, place the pouch where you want it and thread the two webbing straps through the screw attachment buckles. When tightened down properly these webbing straps will keep the pouch from flopping around when weighed down. If your helmet happens to have rails with suitable attachment points built-in you may not need to use the screw attachment buckles.
As the pouch is open-ended on the sides you can route the elastic band of your goggles through it, and it will stay securely in place on the helmet no matter what. The external elastic loops allow you to route and tidy up cords, attach glow sticks etc. Even with the webbing straps attached to the interior rear wall there is still some loop surface there to use, you can use this to store small patches when not using them.
