The Savotta Elastic Cord Kit is one of those small upgrades that changes how a pack performs. I used it to build a zig-zag elastic lash on the back and along the bottom of my Savotta Hatka 12L. It instantly added real-world carry options without turning the pack into a mess. The cord itself is seriously sturdy — easily one of the toughest elastic cords I’ve handled. It’s a bit stubborn to set up the first time. You’ll fight it. But once it’s threaded and locked in, it’s bombproof.

I bought this kit alongside with my Hatka 12 (Picture) and it makes a fantastic addition to it, because of the whole four meters of bungee cord that it includes and the very trustworthy Cordlocks, which give the cord absolutely no opportunity to slip, when trusted with a heavy load, which I have experienced with other products. Very cool, I highly recommend it :-)

Great Little extra making things very accessible and taking volume out of the main compartments. I stuff in things like jumpers, , t- shirts, wet clothing, rain coat, food, hand saw, hat….

Bonjour, les matériaux sont excellents, cependant, les quatre clips sont trop rigides au niveau du ressort, j'ai peur de les abimer en trop forçant dessus. Sinon excellent travail.
Store owner replied: Thank you for your comment! The parts are intentionally designed to be quite rigid at first. This ensures that the cord stays securely in place during use. With time and regular handling, the material will naturally loosen up slightly and become easier to work with, without compromising its function.

Used the elastic cord on my backpack for 4 consecutive days of long hikes including bushcrafting. All parts of this product worked out fantastic. Extremely durable and effective and having spent many years as an outdoor enthusiast it feels in the hand to be the best of its kind that I've used.
They are great but the cord ist quiet difficult to get through the loops, the loop is a little to small😅
Not useful for me. Too little elastic, too strong to attach something underneath. Too bad.
Store owner replied: Sorry to hear it was not of use for you. The elastic cord we use is indeed stronger, less easily stretched, than most on the market. This is due to it being made according to Finnish Defence Forces specifications. The cord needs to stay functional through years of use, in which it is subjected to wear, dirt and UV-light, all of which typically degrade this sort of materials very fast, resulting them in stretching out and losing their elasticity. The elastic cord we use is specifically made to stand up to years of use, but it results in it being a bit stiffer overall.
