We aim to make our gear as versatile, adaptable and modular as sensibly possible. This enables our gear to suit various end-users and situations and allows you to tailor your gear according to your personal preferences and needs.

Although some of our products are made for very specific primary use cases, most of them are still suitable for many other uses, which is further enhanced by adaptability, modularity and colour options.

Some quick examples:

versatility

Our Kahakka packs are a fine example of versatility. Designed primarily for military use, but the overall sensible design, size and compartments make these perfectly functional for everyday and outdoor use as well. Especially since we offer them not only in camouflage patterns, but solid colours as well. This is versatility at its best.

If you are interested in knowing more on why the Kahakka backpacks exist and where they came from, read the article below.

This may be a cultural thing, and we as a company have a very strong emphasis on making military equipment, but here in Finland people generally don’t frown on stuff for being “military looking” even in everyday use. All things military are historically just pretty normal everyday stuff for us, which also shows in our designs.

Modularity and adaptability

Most of our equipment is modular in one way or the other. Do note that this does not simply mean it has loads of PALS webbing on it for attaching pouches, that is just one method of adding modularity. Modular designs allow you to combine various pieces to create a system for your particular needs.

For example: our larger backpacks have four side compression straps. This allows you to quick-attach smaller additional loads, such as our hip packs or the Hatka daypack, resulting in a modular system with a quickly detachable/attachable smaller daypack/bag.

Many of our bags feature loop surfaces for attachment of various organizers, allowing you to create your own organizing system for smaller stuff.

To allow you to customize and adapt your gear we offer an ever growing assortment of accessories such as pack straps, organizers, elastic cord, buckles etc. With these you can tweak your gear to your own taste, swap out G-hooks for SR buckles, or swap out SR buckles for G hooks etc.
