Reppupussin tilavuus noin 60 litraa, läpässä noin 12 litraa lisää tilaa ja ulkopuolella runsaasti kiinnityspaikkoja sivutaskuille ja lisävarusteille.
Kantamus, eli “ihmisen kantama kuorma”, on yleispätevä, moneen tarpeeseen soveltuva ja mukautettava reppumalli. Skaalautuvuus ja kompressoitavuus mahdollistavat repun sovittamisen vaihteleviin kantotarpeisiin ja tilanteisiin. Sisäinen alumiiniputkirunko antaa tukevuutta ja painonsiirtoa painavien kuormien kantoon.
Päälokeron tilavuus on noin 60 litraa, läpän noin 12 litraa. Kantamus 60L soveltuu hyvin yöpymisvarusteiden, vaihtovaatteiden, ruuan ja veden kantamiseen pidemmille usean päivän reissuille. Runsaat ulkoiset kiinnitysmahdollisuudet mahdollistavat erilaisten sivutaskujen ja lisätarvikkeiden kiinnittämisen käyttäjän tarpeiden mukaan.
Repun pääosio
Reppupussin päälokero aukeaa ylhäältä rullasululla, sekä oikealta puolelta pystysuoralla sivuvetoketjulla. Sisällä on juomarakkolokero, jonka yläpuolella on kaksi sidontalenkkiä ja yksi juomarakon kiinnitysväkänen. Molemmilla repun sivuilla yläreunassa on yksi juomaletkuportti.
Vasen sivuvetoketju johtaa reppupussin etuseinämässä olevaan isoon litteään lokeroon. Sopiva esim. laavukankaille ja muille litteäksi pakkautuville varusteille.
Sivuilla ja edessä on runsaasti PALS-nauhakujastoa lisätaskujen ja varusteiden kiinnitystä varten. Pohjassa on kaksi PALS-kujanauhariviä varusteiden kiinnittämiseen irtohihnoilla tai joustonyöristöillä.
Kaksi SR-soljilla varustettua sivukompressiohihnaa per puoli mahdollistavat sekä repun kiristämisen että lisävarusteiden ja esim. pitkien työkalujen kiinnityksen repun ulkopuolelle. Näihin voi myös kiinnittää esim. Hatka 12L päivärepun, sopivilla soljilla varustettuna.
Lievästi laskostetut sivupussitaskut mahdollistavat pitkien työkalujen ja varusteiden kantamisen repun sivuilla. Nämä ovat varsin litteät ja matalat, eivät tarkoitettu esim. vesipullojen kantamiseen, sitä varten suosittelemme kiinnittämään yleistaskun lantiovyölle.
Kelluva läppä
Läpässä on yksi iso päälokero, tilavuus noin 12 litraa, käynti niskan puoleisen vetoketjun kautta. Täytettynä läppä “palloutuu”, ja tyhjänä se litistyy tiivisti kasaan. Tänne sopii esim. sadevaatteet tai taukotakki. Kun läppä kiristetään, kompressoituu se itsestään tiiviiksi, estäen sisällön hölskymisen. Läpän päällä on kuminyöristö kevyempien varusteiden kiinnittämiseen. Läpän alapinnassa on kaksi PALS-kujanauhariviä, joihin voi kiinnittää esim. makuualustan.
Läpän etuosassa on pientavaroille pieni vetoketjusulkuinen tasku jonka sisällä on nauhalenkki D-renkaalla.
Pro-tip: Läpän voi myös irrottaa ja vaihtaa esim. meidän Askare-vyölaukkuun tai Hatka 12L -päiväreppuun, sopivilla soljilla varustettuina (soljet eivät tule repun mukana). Täten voit muokata Kantamuksestasi modulaarisen, pikairroitettavalla päivä/tarvikenyssäkällä varustetun kantolaitejärjestelmän.
Kantojärjestelmä
Sisäinen alumiiniputkirunko antaa painavampien kuormien kantoon tukevuutta ja hyvän painonsiirron lantiolle. Selkämys on pehmustettu paksulla ja tymäkällä umpisolumuovipehmusteella, joka on sijoitettu tarranauhalla suljettavaan lokeroon. Pehmusteen voi poistaa lokerostaan esim. istuinalustana käyttöä varten, ja lokeroon voi pakata varusteita, esim. laavukangas tai sadeviitta.
Pehmustetut olkaviilekkeet kiinnittyvät teräksisiin D-renkaisiin, antaen niille kääntymisvaraa. Olkaviilekkeiden kiinnityskorkeus on säädettävissä sopivaksi eri pituisille käyttäjille, noin 165-195 cm pitkille. Yläkiristyshihnat voidaan pujotella kahden nauhalenkin lävitse, täten niiden erkaantumiskohtaa olkaviilekkeistä voi säätää käyttäjän mittojen ja mieltymyksen mukaan. Rintaremmi on irrotettava ja sitä voi siirtää olkaviilekkeissä ylös-alas tarpeen mukaan.
Lantiovyö koostuu kahdesta reppupussiin kiinni ommellusta 50 mm nauhasta joissa on PALS-nauhakujasto. Lantiovyön muut osat (kolme pehmustetta ja etusulkuremmit solkineen) kiinnittyvät näihin pujottelemalla. Täten kaikki lantiovyön osat ovat tarvittaessa vaihdettavissa ilman ompelutyötä tai erillisiä työkaluja. Vyön solkena on äärimmäisen helppokäyttöinen ja luotettava Berg buckle.
Kestävä ja huollettava
Repun pääosio on tehty 1000D Cordurasta kovan kulutuskestävyyden vuoksi, yksityiskohdat kuten suuaukko ja selkäpuoli on tehty kevyemmästä ja vähemmän karkeasta 500D Cordurasta. Vetoketjut on suojattu ja jokaisessa ketjussa on kaksi vedintä, varmuuden vuoksi jos toinen sattuisi rikkoutumaan.
Repun soljet, läppä, olkaviilekkeet ja lantiovyön komponentit voidaan helposti vaihtaa ilman ompelua mikäli ne vahingoittuvat käytössä, mahdollistaen helpon korjattavuuden repun käyttöiän aikana.

Most comfortable rucksack I’ve worn with heavy loads. It even doubles as a child carrier, as the lid surface (ymmv) fits even an eight-year-old comfortably when they’re juiced out.
I can heartily recommend the outdoors, in general.
This backpack has been with me for almost a year now, and it has seen multiple war zones, fields, snow, mud and did its justice in Ukraine for over 3 times now. It is sturdy, spacious and very functional. It is comfortable on the back and the hip band really provides the edge you need on long hauls. The quality is to die for and will continue to use this piece for the coming tours.
I’m very satisfied with the Kantamus 60L backpack so far. It offers plenty of space and easily fits everything I need, while still feeling extremely robust and well-built. The materials and overall construction give a lot of confidence, especially for heavier loads.
I haven’t had the chance to test it in warmer conditions yet, so I’m still curious how the back ventilation will perform in summer. However, in winter conditions it has been absolutely excellent and very comfortable to carry. Overall, it feels like a reliable, durable backpack built for serious use.
Savotta knocked it out of the park with the Kantamus 60. The improved shoulder straps and waist strap, along with the frame, support heavy loads really well. The external flat pocket is really handy for storing items that you want to grab quickly (waterproofs or a tarp), the lid pocket is massive, and the vertical zip gives you quick access to the main compartment. PALS webbing throughout enables you to add pouches to increase capacity if required. A fantastic bombproof pack.
Excellent packability, and it handles heavy loads very well. The heavier it gets, the more comfortable it becomes. During the test hike, with 17 kg load on 20 km per day, the shoulder straps were still comfortable. The hip belt needed about 15–20 km to break in; until then it pressed a bit, but afterward it became incredibly comfortable. First impressions are very positive. I especially like that you don’t have to worry about the fabric. Neither branches nor rocky ground can harm it; the Cordura withstands everything.”
I was able to transport an entire Hawu 8 tent in there, the only thing I had to carry separately was the Stove itself, yes it was 30kg plus, but actually quite manageable due to the structure of the backpack itself and the straps in all the right places to customise the fit and distribute the weight. Some bungee in the right places also made sure some of the tools were no longer dangling around, but nice and snug to the backpack :)
First of all, before I go into detail, I love the backpack theres no other way around it.
When I was considering this backpack I had a few concerns:
1. The new hip belt system
2. The non ventilated back of the pack
Those were a little suspicious on paper, the reviews online didnt convince me much in their quality and if they would be better. But as we all know, Savotta does what it does well.
The hip belt is amazing, stable and super fast and easy to use. I love it…
The part of the backpack that rests on your back, is non ventilated but that did not create any issue for me, the hip belt created a small gap between the pack when you wear it which is enough, and if you get yourself to the point of sweating, you would sweat no matter if the back part is ventilated or not. So again, this is not a issue AT ALL.
The pack carries weight like nothing. Its a solid build and another win for the Savotta track record in my opinion.
Sadly I cant compare this backpack to other backpacks from Savotta since Im new and only got the Hatka some time ago, but I can say that I dont regret spending one single euro on this beast of a pack. And Savotta has earned my trust and respect and continued business, Ill definitely be buying more. I cannot find better words to describe how satisfied I am, thank you!

First backpacking weekend with the new Kantamus 60L ! I absolutely love it ! Before this Kantamus I was using the Jaakari XL for my backpacking trips, and it was great, but now that I've tried the Kantamus, I like it a lot more because it feels wider and lower overall so the charge feels closer to my back instead of having some weight high up behind my head, so while walking I found the balance being much better for my taste.
Plus they managed to make it way lighter with only 2.8 kg, and that's a huge positive for me.
Love it. Can't wait to use it again !!

I love Savotta for it's tough gear that lasts a life time. I also love the fact almost everything is sourced from within Europe and made in Europe.
The Kantamus 60L is no different. This pack is build like a brick and without doubt it could last me a life time with proper care.
I'm personally a sucker for organizing, flexibility and modularity. Savotta plays into that really well with the Kantamus (in my opinion a big upgrade over older generation Savotta bags). I personally use mine in combination with either the Hatka or the Askare.
The total package is and spacious and well organized at the same time.

Toimii ja toimittelee! Tästä tuli ykkösrinkka meikäläiselle, joka toimii siviili- ja inttihommissa. Tykkään isosta päätaskusta, jossa tilaa ei ole ylimääräisillä taskuilla kikkailtu mitenkään. Pitkään "sivu"taskuun saa esimerkiksi kivasti ruokajutut ja kannen päätaskussa kaikkea pienempää sekä tavaroita joihin pitää olla nopeampi pääsy. Sivussa oleviin verkkotaskuihin menee esimerkiksi pitkulaiset juomapullot tai KESsi. Rinkka istuu selkään hyvin. Säädin selän pituutta napsun pienemmäksi, mikä oli helposti tehtävissä. Ja lantiovyö toimii systeemeineen mulle hyvin! Parin päivän reissulle juuri passelin kokoinen, ja ylimääräisillä sivutaskuilla saa vissiin lisäätilaa?

I have a big Savotta Rinka fromt the early 90s and thought a better one can't be made, which is a bit sad since there is no good reason to get something new. But then I saw that, although it is not much older than 30 years, the shoulder straps showed some sign of wear at the lower end. And then I fell for a youtube ad and the Kantamus 60 came into action. It has worked perfectly so far, moderate weights (20-25kg) are even more comfortable to carry compared to my older equipment. Funcionality, versatility and quality appears to be top notch.
